“We have done what everyone said was impossible.” That is how two sisters from Bristol opened their pitch in the Den — and by the end of it the whole panel had stopped taking notes. What Imogen and Sophie Radcliffe put in front of the Dragons that night is now being called “THE MOST DISRUPTIVE BREAKTHROUGH IN WEIGHT LOSS HISTORY.”
DIETITIANS ARE STUNNED. FITNESS COACHES ARE FURIOUS.

Shedding over 2 stone in 14 days without flogging yourself at the gym, without punishing meal plans, and without waiting a year on the NHS list for weight-loss jabs used to sound like a pipe dream.
That was the claim the Radcliffe sisters made in front of the panel. Then they handed over the trial photographs, and the room stopped talking.
Since the episode aired, three professional bodies have called for an “urgent review”, questioning how a simple botanical capsule could deliver results rivalling surgery that costs anywhere from £7,000 to £17,000.
Who the Radcliffe sisters are
Imogen Radcliffe spent eleven years in pharmaceutical formulation. Her younger sister Sophie is a nutritional biochemist.

They started the work in a rented lab unit outside Bristol, for a reason that had nothing to do with business.
“Mum came off the injections after four months. She could not eat, she could not work, and she put every pound back on within the year. We started this because we watched that happen at our own kitchen table.”
— Imogen Radcliffe
Four years of development followed. Dozens of active botanicals. A team of nutrition scientists working under confidentiality agreements.

The result is a one-a-day capsule built to flip on the body’s natural “metabolic switch” — triggering fat-burning even while you are sat on the sofa with a cup of tea.
The night the Den went quiet

The sisters came in asking for £90,000 for 5% of the business — a modest, almost apologetic ask by Den standards. Then they handed round the fourteen-day trial photographs.
“Most fat-burners are destroyed by stomach acid before they ever reach the bloodstream,” Imogen told the panel. “We stopped trying to fight the gut and built a capsule that works with it.”
What followed has never happened in the programme’s twenty-year run: all five Dragons made a joint offer — £400,000 for 20%, split equally between them, the largest single investment in the show’s history. The sisters took it on the spot.

“I have turned down every diet product that has ever walked through that door — every single one. This is the first time I have looked at the trial data and thought: I cannot find the catch. If these two are right, the injection industry has a very serious problem.”
— Deborah Meaden, in the Den
Since the episode aired, the Dragons have helped the sisters rebrand the product and expand production nine-fold. It still keeps selling out.
What actually convinced the panel
It was not the photographs. Deborah Meaden asked for the follow-up data twice before she made her offer.
The sisters had run two trials. The first, out of two clinics in Bristol and Leeds, followed 200 women aged 38 to 64 — most of them post-menopausal, all of them people for whom dieting had stopped working years earlier.
A second, larger group of 1,300 participants was tracked over twelve weeks to check that the weight stayed off and that nothing else moved in the wrong direction.

“Anything can look good at fourteen days. We were far more interested in what the twelve-week bloodwork said. That is the number the whole category quietly avoids.”
— Sophie Radcliffe
Across both groups the headline figures were consistent: an average of 1½ to 2½ stone lost, no reported deterioration in bloodwork or skin condition, and no rebound in the follow-up window.
So we tested it ourselves for 28 days
Claims are cheap. After the episode aired, this desk asked the sisters for a sealed box from the same batch that goes out to the public — and I agreed to take it.
Four weeks. One capsule before bed. No diet changes, no gym membership, weigh-in and callipers every Sunday morning.
I should declare an interest. I am 52. I buried my husband three years ago and put on the best part of two stone in the year that followed — the year I stopped cooking properly and started eating standing up. I have also covered this industry long enough to expect nothing from it.
Week 0
The desk insisted on a baseline, so here it is: 14st 9lb on the bathroom scales and 38 inches at the waist, photographed in my own front room on the Sunday before I started. I have not edited it, and I would rather it were not on this page.

Week 1
The first thing that changed was not the scales — it was the nine o’clock raid on the biscuit tin, which simply did not happen. By Sunday I was 8lb down and assuming most of it was water.

Weeks 2 and 3
This is where I stopped being sceptical. Another 10lb gone by the second Sunday — 1st 4lb in fourteen days — and the first mornings in years I woke before the alarm. Progress slowed in week three, as the sisters had warned it would, but the stomach kept going: 1st 11lb in total, from the one area fourteen years of on-and-off dieting had never shifted.
I still wear my husband’s ring. Somewhere in that third week I caught myself in the mirror, on the way past, and thought he would have liked seeing me like this. I am aware that is not a measurement. I am putting it in anyway.
Week 4
Final weigh-in: 2st 3lb down in 28 days, inside the 1½–2½ stone the trial reported. Bloods unchanged at my GP check. No headaches, no nausea, no rebound in the fortnight since I stopped.

“I went into this expecting to write it up as another over-hyped capsule. I could not. That is an uncomfortable sentence for a health desk to print, and I have checked the numbers twice.”
— Claire Bennett, Health Desk
THE SURGICAL-LEVEL SOLUTION THAT OUTPERFORMS £10,500 LIPOSUCTION
This breakthrough works in three ways — and traditional surgery simply cannot compete:
Up to 4lb of fat burned in the first 15 hours

Acts like an “internal lipolaser” — no needles, no recovery
Restores healthy hunger signals — fullness and control return

Dr. David O’Connor, a metabolism specialist with no commercial involvement in the brand, was asked to go through the GLP3-B trial data independently. He explains why the numbers caught him off guard:
“I was brought in to pull this apart, and I expected to. Most products in this category fall over the moment you look at the follow-up data properly.
This one did not. Women losing 1½ to 2½ stone with no bootcamps, no crash diets and no surgery — and no deterioration in bloodwork, skin condition or general wellbeing at the twelve-week check.
I could not find the flaw, and I did look for it. On this evidence it does what they say it does.”
— Dr. David O’Connor, metabolism specialist, independent review
Why British women say it “just fits into real life”
Since GLP3-B became available to the public, thousands of women have shared their before-and-after photos from all over the UK — from London to Manchester, from Birmingham to Glasgow:

Jabs, private clinics or a capsule: what it actually costs in the UK
The argument for GLP3-B is easier to see side by side. These are the routes open to a woman in her fifties who wants to lose two stone this year.
| Jabs on the NHS | Jabs privately | GLP3-B | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Wait | 12–18 months | None | None |
| Cost | Free, if you qualify | £200–300 a month | £1.22 a day |
| Prescription | Required | Required | Not required |
| Form | Weekly injection | Weekly injection | One capsule a day |
| Common side effects | Nausea, fatigue | Nausea, fatigue | None reported in trial |
| When you stop | Weight often returns | Weight often returns | No rebound at follow-up |
The wait is the part most readers write to us about. Eligibility for weight-loss injections on the NHS is narrow, and even once you qualify the list in most trusts runs past a year. Going private removes the wait and replaces it with a bill that does not stop for as long as you keep injecting.
Supply has not caught up with the broadcast
The sisters told the panel they could make 40,000 boxes a month. Within a fortnight of the episode airing they were taking orders for several times that.
Production has since been expanded nine-fold with the Dragons’ backing, and a second contract manufacturer came online this summer. Batches still clear within hours of a restock.

Where can I buy GLP3-B in the UK?

Important: GLP3-B is not available in Boots, Superdrug or on Amazon. It is only available through the official UK website.

Discussion
22 commentshas anyone round Manchester actually tried this one or is it the usual nonsense? bit wary after the last thing I ordered off facebook 🙄
Sheila I was exactly the same, wouldn’t have bothered if my daughter hadn’t kept on at me. 6 weeks in now. I’m not going to call it a miracle but I’ve gone from a 20 to a 14 and not changed much else. Genuinely wasn’t expecting that.
Denise thanks for coming back to me, that’s reassuring. How long before you noticed anything at all?
About a fortnight for the bloating to go. The actual weight took longer. First thing I properly clocked was my rings going back on again x
Can somebody explain how it actually works though? I don’t really follow the science bit if I’m honest.
Patricia from what I can gather it’s more the metabolism side than the appetite. Mine basically went to sleep after the menopause. All I know is the weight round my middle has finally started shifting — 3 stone since the spring — and nothing touched it for years.
went for the 3 boxes bundle, worked out a lot cheaper per box with the reader discount. glad I didn’t just get the one
Marion same here, wish I’d done that first time round instead of reordering x
Or you could just eat less? Genuine question, not having a dig. I know it’s harder with little ones about, you end up finishing their leftovers, but we are adults.
Karen I’m on about 1200 calories a day and I walk everywhere and I haven’t shifted a pound in 8 months. It honestly isn’t always that simple after 50.
mine’s just turned up! starting tonight, will report back in a few weeks 🤞
